Any state outside the Northeast, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland or Mizoram can get the permit. Major airports in the Northeast, such as Guwahati International Airport, can issue the permit. The Arunachal Pradesh government also provides the facility to apply for an Inner Line Permit online. Foreigners require a different type of permit, the Protected Area Permit (PAP). Ans: The best time to visit Arunachal Pradesh is in between September and May. The best time to visit Meghalaya is from January to July. By Flight

There are several cities in India that offer direct flights to Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, and Tripura. Guwahati, the only metropolitan city in the Northeast, is the gateway to other states in the Northeast. Guwahati offers direct and domestic flights from various cities in India. From Guwahati, you can catch flights to Dimapur, Silchar, Aizawl, Agartala, Tezpur, Jorhat, and Dibrugarh. Not all states have functioning airports; therefore, the only mode of transportation once you reach a destination is by road. There are also helicopter flights to Aizwal and Naharlagun.

 

By Car

By Bus

Day 01 - Aizawl:

Day 02 - Aizawl:

Day 03 - Aizawl - Vantawng:

Day 07 - Champai - Aizawl:
