Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Ahmedabad – Little Rann of Kutch (Approx. 90km/2hrs)

 

Today, proceed to Little Rann of Kutch. On arrival check in to the resort. Explore the desert by open jeep in the Little Rann of Kutch, where one can sight animals like Wild-Ass, Desert Fox, Blue Bull, Blackbuck, Wolf, Jackal and few species of snakes & many species of birds also one can visit the home of Rabari and Banjara are the two important tribes of the region. Overnight stay at Little Rann of Kutch.
 

Day 02: Little Rann of Kutch – Jamnagar (Approx. 210kms/2hrs)


Today, proceed to Jamnagar, historically known as Nawanagar. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later proceed to visit Lakhota Lake & Lakhota Museum (Under Renovation), Kotha Bastion, Darbargadh Palace, Pratap Vilas Palace, Khijada Temple, Ratan Bai Masjid, Cremation Park (Manekbai Muktidham). In the evening, visit Bala Hanuman Temple known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956 and it mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
 

Day 03: Jamnagar – Dwarka (Approx. 150kms/3hrs)

 

In the morning depart to Porbandar (75km/1.5hrs) Perhaps best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama (friend of Lord Krishna). Its also known as Sudamapuri. At Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir – the place where Gandhiji was born and Sudama Temple – The only Sudama Temple in the world and Porbandar Chowpatty, Huzoor Palace, Tara Mandir (Nehru Planetarium), Shri Hari Mandir (Sandipani Vidyaniketan), Gaytri Mandir. Later proceed to Somnath (130km/2.5hrs). Somnath Tample – is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of the god Shiva. On arrival check in to the hotel later proceed to visit BhalkaTirth & Somnath Temple. In the evening watch light and Sound show. Overnight stay at the hotel

 

Day 04: Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (Approx. 200km/4hrs)

Day 05: Somnath – Diu (Approx. 90km/2hrs)

 

Today, Proceed to beach town Diu. The day is at leisure to enjoy the wide variety of water sports facilities available at Nagoa Beach. Visit St. Pauls Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort, Gangeshwar Temple, Noida Caves. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 

Day 06: Diu – Sasan Gir (Approx. 100km/2hrs)

 

Today, proceed to Sasangir. Sasangir, is the home of the Asiatic Lion. In the afternoon Visit Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya(Wed Close – at own cost). Crocodile breeding farm, Gir Information Centre. Watch movie on lion at Gir Information Centre in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 

Day 07: Sasan Gir – Junagadh (Approx. 65kms/1.5hrs)

 

Enjoy morning Jeep Safari – at own cost(Total 3 shifts per day morning 6 am, 9 am & afternoon 3 pm) in the Gir forests. Look for the two big cats and also get the pleasure of watching other wildlife. Visit crocodile farm or also go on a nature and bird walks. Later proceed to Junagadh. Visit Uperkot Fort, Ashok Rock Edict, Mahabat Makabara and Junagadh Museum. Visit the highest hill of Gujarat “Girnar”, Older than Himalayas, Girnar, the mountain and its range are considered sacred and its an important pilgrimage site for both Jains and Hindus. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 

Day 08: Junagadh – Virpur – Gondal – Rajkot (Approx. 110kms/2.5hrs)

 

Today, proceed to Rajkot via Virpur & Gondal. At Virpur visit famous “Jalaram Tample” Later procedd to Gondal. On arrival visit Navlakha Palace & Classic and Vintage Car Museum. Later proceed to Rajkot. Overnight stay at hotel.
 

Day 09: Rajkot – Palitana – Bhavnagar (Approx. 225kms/5hrs)

 

Today, proceed to Bhavnagar via Palitana. The Palitana temples of Jainism are located on Shatrunjaya by the city of Palitana in Bhavnagar district, Gujarat, India. The city of the same name, known previously as Padliptapur, has been nicknamed “City of Temples”. Shatrunjaya means a “Place of victory against inner enemies” or “which conquers inner enemies”. Visit the main temple is reached by stepping up approx 3500 steps. It is said that 23 Tirthankaras (a human being who helps in achieving liberation and enlightenment). In the evening, visit Jain Museum and Handicraft Market of Palitana town. Continued towards Bhavnagar. In the evening visit Takhteshwar Temple located on the small hillock. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 

Day 10: Bhavnagar – Velavadar National Park – Lothal – Ahmedabd (Approx. 210km/4hrs)

 

Today, Proceed to Ahmedabad via Velavadar & Lothal. The Velavadar National Park at Velavadar, also known as Blackbuck National Park, is situated in the Bhavnagar District of Gujarat state. Flat land, dry grasses & Herds of Antelope and blackbuck, wolf, lesser florican has been sustained here. Migratory birds arrive like three species of harriers, lesser floricans, eagles, waders and other water birds. Later depart to Lothal, literally “Mound of the Dead”, It is the Harappan culture in India, allows the most insight into the story of the Indus Valley Civilization, its exuberant flight, and its tragic decay & alsoRoam the ruins. With the help of the local museum here, allow yourself to be trans- ported to an era 4,500 years ago, the artisans and crafts below, and the bustling dockyard that once reached out to the rest of the world. Later proceed to Ahmedabad. At evening drop at Airport/Railway station, return Home with Happy Memories of Gujarat “Khushboo Gujarat Ki”.
