Tour Itinerary

DAY 01 : BHUBANESWAR ARRIVAL

Arrival at Bhubaneshwar Airport/Railway Station and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit of local temples – Parsurameswar, Mukteswar, Brahmeswar & Rajarani Temples. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

DAY 02 : BHUBANESWAR – PIPILI – PURI (70KMS / 1.5HR)

After breakfast drive to Puri visiting Dhauli (Shanti Stupa), Hirapur (64 Yogini temple), Pipili (Applique work village) & Raghurajpur (Painting village). On the way also enjoy the Chita– paintings on the walls of the houses. Overnight at Puri.

DAY 03 : PURI – KONARK – PURI (45KMS / 1HR)

Early Morning visit Lord Jagannath Temple from watch tower. Afternoon visit to Sun Temple of Konark(also called as Black Pagoda),Chandrabhaga Beach and fishing villages. Overnight at Puri.

DAY 04 : PURI – CHILIKA LAKE – GOPALPUR (180KMS / 6HR)

Morning after breakfast drive to Gopalpur via Barkul. Scenic Chilika will appear on the way near Barkul. Visit the lake to see the fishermen on fishing looking for prawns, mackerel and crabs.

Continue to Gopalpur. Overnight at Gopalpur.

DAY 05 : GOPALPUR – TAPTAPANI – RAYAGADA (250KMS / 7HR)

After breakfast proceed to Rayagada en-route visit to hot sulfur spring at Taptapani, and Tibetan Settlement camps at Chandragiri. Overnight at Rayagada.

DAY 06 : RAYAGADA – KOTHAGARH (100KMS / 3HR) (TUESDAY)

After breakfast excursion to the Tumudibandha areas to visit Kutia Kondh Tribes. While returning visit of their market at Kothagarh. On the way, if time permits, visit Dhokra Casting and Tribal Jewellery making place. Overnight at Rayagada.

DAY 07 : RAYAGADA – CHATIKONA – JEYPORE (180KMS / 6HR)

Morning after breakfast visit to Dongria Kondha Tribal market at Chatikona and then drive to Jeypore visiting a few Desia Kondha and Mali Tribes on the way. Overnight at Jeypore. (Market Open Wednesday)

DAY 08 : JEYPORE – ONUKUDELLI – JEYPORE (80KMS / 2HR)

After breakfast drive to Onukudelli to visit the most colourful local market of the Bonda Tribes and then visit the colourful Gadabas & Didayee Tribes. Overnight at Jeypore. (Market Open Thrusday)

DAY 09 : JEYPORE – KUNDULI – JEYPORE (70KMS / 2.5 HR)

Morning proceed to witness the biggest tribal weekly vegetable market of Sanaparoja & Mali tribes in Kundli 65 KMs away via Sunabeda (it is a very colourful market).Then drive to Jeypore visiting Lord Jagannath Temple and Tribal Museum at Koraput. Overnight at Jeypore. (Market Open Friday)

DAY 10 : JEYPORE – GUPTESWAR – JAGDALPUR (180KMS / 4 HR)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Gupteswar to visit the cave shrine, colourful Dhuruba tribal market. Further proceed to Jagdalpur of Chhattisgarh state, afternoon enjoy the sunset views of the spectacular Chitrakoot waterfall. Enjoy the stay in a eco resort.

DAY 11 : JAGDALPUR SIGHTSEEING

Visit the weekly market of bison horn Muriya tribes and their interesting villages. Visit the tribal museum which is a treasure of tribal antiquities. Overnight stay in the same resort.

DAY 12 : JAGDALPUR – RAIPUR (300KMS / 7 HR)

After breakfast proceed to Raipur enroute visit Dhokra Craft centre in Kondagaon. Check in to Hotel. Overnight at Raipur.

DAY 13 : RAIPUR – KANHA NATIONAL PARK (200KMS / 5 HR)

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Kanha National park in Madhya Pradesh and check into the Jungle Lodge on arrival. Afternoon free for nature walk. Overnight at Kanha.

DAY 14 : KANHA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast proceed for National Park Safari by Jeep. Overnight at Kanha.

DAY 15 : KANHA NATIONAL PARK – BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK (240KMS / 5 HR)

After breakfast check out from lodge and proceed to Bandhavgarh. Check in to lodge. Overnight at Bandhavgarh.

DAY 16 : BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK

A fter breakfast morning game drive inside the jungle and as well as in the afternoon. Overnight in t he Jungle resort.

DAY 17 : BANDHAVGARH – JABALPUR – DELHI (180KMS / 4 HR)

A fter breakfast drive to Jabalpur to catch flight for Delhi. Arrival at Delhi Airport. Check in to Hotel. O vernight at Delhi.

DAY 18 : DELHI DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Airport to catch home bound flight.
