The Amarnath Yatra is popularly called the Amarnath Pilgrimage. This is a Hindu pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Amarnath Pilgrimage 2025 may start from July 1 to August 19, 2025. The pilgrimage will be for a total of 51 days. The dates are not announced by the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, the government agency responsible for managing and organizing the pilgrimage. The Yatra takes place during Shraavana Mela, which falls in the Shravan month. Amarnath Yatra is organized only during July and August..!! Hence the tentative schedule is planned accordingly

- Number of Persons (Age limit must be between 13 years to 70 years on the date of Travelling, Children below 13 years, Adults above 70 years and a lady having 6-month pregnancy cannot travel as per govt rule. Handicapped People can travel.)

Note:

 

You may plan to travel only Amarnath Pilgrimage then Srinagar is the best option and also Srinagar is well connected from New Delhi and other main Indian Airports via Delhi like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam etc but not connected fully by Indian Railway from rest of the Indian states.

 

If you want to have darshan of both Amarnath and Mata Vaishno Devi, then you can come either to Jammu or Srinagar. Jammu is well connected by Flights all over India and also Jammu / Katra is well connected by Indian Railway (IRCTC).

 

By any chance you plan to have darshan of Amarnath and Maa Vaishno Devi together in one trip then book a flight for Srinagar first for Shri Amarnath Pilgrimage and take a return flight from Jammu and vice versa, you also have option of adding Patnitop en route to the Yatra.

 

By any chance if you want to use Railway Route or intend to avail LTC, then Jammu/ Katra is the only option. Katra is the nearest Railway Station for Mata Vaishno Devi Dham and Jammu is 50 kms away from Katra.

 

Any govt ID Proof like Passport, Driving License, Voter Id, Adhar Card, School/college etc. will work. But Adhar and Passport are important documents for an easy process so try to send the scan copy of this id through mail. Click here to know more about documents

 

Medical Fitness Certificate (This is important document which is required to go for Amarnath Pilgrimage. At the time of booking, we don’t require these documents so be relaxed. You need to submit the scanned copy to us before 20th April 2024 & bring this original medical certificate at the time of arrival, so you have enough time to make this. If you book after 20th April, then book after making the certificate. If you are International Traveller / Foreigner, then you can make your certificate from the National or govt hospital of your country or alternatively you can make it in India too provided you come to India at least 7-15 days in advance.

 

Q: What happens after I finalize my date, deposit the amount, and send all the details through mail?

A: Once we receive all the details except for the medical certificate and ID proof, we will reserve your booking for the selected date. You can send a scanned copy of the medical certificate and the original at the time of arrival. You can send the ID proof at any time after sending the amount, but please do not delay it beyond 7 days.

 

Once we have reserved your booking, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details of your package and the advance amount. If you find any errors or want to change the date of the pilgrimage, you have a maximum of 3 days to do so, provided you booked 120 days or more in advance. If you do not change the date within the first 3 days, we will consider it final. If you want to change, postpone, or cancel the trip after the 3 days, a cancellation charge will be applicable. Date change is subject to availability.

 

Q: What is the procedure to add extra persons after finalizing the tour and paying the amount?

A: After you have paid the initial deposit, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details of your booking. In the meantime, we will book your hotel accommodation, transportation, helicopter, and registration. Advance payment is calculated as INR10, 000 plus Helicopter ticket and permit charges

 

You can collect your hotel and transportation voucher at any time after you have paid 100% of the total amount. The helicopter tickets and registration will be issued once the government gives the green signal.

You can hire a pony or Palki from Holycave to reach Pahalgam. The distance from Holycave to Pahagam is 45 kms in which 29 km is by trekking via Sheshnag, Panchatrni and 16 kms is by road from Chandanwari. Generally, it takes around 2- 3 days to complete by walk and 2 days by pony / Palki. Generally returning pilgrims complete in 1 day also provided there is no rain and the route is clear from holycave to Chandanwari /Pahalgam..

 

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

 

Upon your arrival in Delhi, the tour representative will greet you with a warm welcome and direct you towards your hotel. Once you reach your hotel, you will be asked to perform the check-in formalities and then, you can enjoy your stay in your deluxe room.

 

If you wish to explore some nearby places on your own, then, you can also go for a leisure walk.

 

Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Delhi

 

After having lunch, get ready for a fun-filled sightseeing tour of Delhi in a private vehicle. In Delhi, you will pay a brief visit to Red Fort which is a patriotic architectural site of India where hundreds of history lover will be seen admiring the red beauty of that fort.

 

Next, you will visit some of the popular architectural sites of Delhi like Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, and Birla Mandir. Jama Masjid is a famous Islamic spiritual architecture which boasts its creative designing style in a very proud way. Qutub Minar and Humayun tomb is another very famous architectural site where you can admire the beauty of Old architectural style.

 

Then, in the evening, you will walk past the India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan which are often known as the major patriotic landmarks. After that, you can enjoy a little shopping time on the streets of Connaught Place where the market time stretched to around 2 in the morning.

 

In the night, enjoy the overnight stay in your hotel room in Delhi.

 

Day 03: Arrival in Srinagar

 

After having lunch, you will be directed towards an assisted transfer to Domestic terminal of Delhi and from there, you will board a flight for Srinagar. On reaching Srinagar, you will receive an assisted transfer to your deluxe room in a houseboat in Srinagar.

 

After performing all the check-in formalities, the whole day is at your disposal to spend it the way you wish to. You can also check out some nearby street markets for souvenirs.

With this, enjoy your overnight stay under the gleaming light of stars in a houseboat.

 

Day 04: Sightseeing tour of Srinagar

 

After a quick breakfast routing, please get ready to walk an adventurous day in Srinagar because today, you will be covering all the popular landmarks of this city. Firstly, you will be visiting the famous Mughal garden where you will be walking along the beautiful fountains and lush green beauty of this garden. Then, you will also see other famous gardens like Shalimar garden and Nishat Bagh.

 

For lunch, you will then head back towards your houseboat and will also be able to relax for some time. In the evening, you will enjoy a Shikara ride on the very famous Dal Lake and during this ride, you will also pay a brief visit to the floating garden and floating market of Srinagar.

 

Post this fun-filled ride, enjoy your overnight stay once again in the houseboat.

 

Day 05: En-route to Pahalgam

 

Once you finish your breakfast, get ready for an adventurous cab ride along some of the great mountain ranges of Jammu and Kashmir. Today, you will head towards Pahalgam which is about 93 km away from Srinagar. En-route to Pahalgam, you will pay a quick visit to Saffron fields, the ancient Matan Temple, and the ruins of Avantipur.

 

On reaching Pahalgam, you perform the check-in formalities first. After that, you can enjoy the leisure walk on the spiraling streets of Pahalgam.

 

Day 06: Pahalgam – Chandanwari – Sheshnag

 

On day six of your Kashmir tour, you will finally enter the spiritual part of the journey. Once you have your breakfast, the tour representative will assist you towards a car which will drive you to Chandanwari which is about 16 km away. On your route to Chandanwari, you will cross a very famous snow bridge and will also be given time to capture that moment.

 

On reaching Chandanwari, you will begin an upward trek to Sheshnag so, don’t forget to admire the beauty of nature. Once you reach the Pishoo Ghati pass, the tour representative will assist you towards your tent which is another kind of camping adventure that you will experience in Kashmir.

 

After that, enjoy your overnight stay in your deluxe tents.

 

Day 07: Sheshnag – Panjtarni

 

After having an early breakfast, the tour representative will direct you towards your trekking trail to Panjtarni which is about 14 km away from Sheshnag. Up to Mahagunas top, you will walk on an upward trail so it might be a little difficult but you can take as many breaks as your body requires. After this point, you will walk a downward trail to Panjtarni.

 

Somewhere on the foothills of Bhairav Mountain, you will be directed towards your deluxe tents. Here, you can enjoy those sleeping under the stars night. So, enjoy the overnight stay in Panjtarni on day seven.

 

Day 08: Panjtarni – Amarnath Cave – Baltal

 

After an early morning breakfast, get ready to resume the spiritual journey to Amarnath cave. For Amarnath temple, you will be walking an ascending trek of about 6 km away from Panjtarni. So, on your way to Amarnath, enjoy the stunning site of Himalayan mountain ranges and see the fervor of thousands of devotees walking alongside you.

 

On reaching the Amarnath temple premise, first, take a dip in the holy stream of water beside the cave. And then, walk inside the temple and perform all the worship rituals of Lord Shiva. Beside the Shiva Lingam, you will also see the ice stalagmites of Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha.

 

After Darshan, get ready to head back to Baltal which is only 4 km away from Amarnath caves. Once you reach Baltal, you will enjoy your overnight stay in tents.

 

Day 09: Baltal – Sonmarg – Srinagar

 

After a quick breakfast routine, get ready for an assisted transfer to Sonmarg which is known as the meadow of gold by the local people of Kashmir. It is also the opening passage for Ladakh which is a dream journey for most of the young travelers of India.

 

In Sonmarg, you can enjoy a day at your leisure and can admire the natural beauty of this town. In the evening, you will again board an assisted transfer to Srinagar. Once you reach Srinagar, the tour representative will assist you in the check-in formalities and then, you can enjoy your overnight stay in Srinagar.

 

Day 10: Departure from Srinagar

 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport from where you will board a flight back to Delhi. And with that, the tour representative will offer his goodbye to you.

Passenger Guidelines

 

          - Due to the limited availability of space inside the helicopter the passengers are requested to carry a small bag of less than 5KGs with only all the necessary items.

          - If the baggage is more than 5 KGs then the helicopter company reserves the right to cancel your seat on the chopper.

          - Carry a medical kit and a first aid box along with good quality of woollen clothing to ensure a safe journey for you and your family since these places are situated on a very high altitude.

          - All the sightseeing in and around the Char Dham temples are subject to weather changes and other political tensions. If it’s not possible you may not get to do so since the passenger’s safety is our priority.

          - Children above the age of 2 years old will be required to travel with a full adult ticket. For this purpose, a birth certificate of the child is also required.

          - No concession is given to children or senior citizens

          - The price for the ticket is subject to any sort of change without any prior notice. You must confirm the prices in advance.
