Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to Srinagar - The City of Lakes and Gardens! 

Morning Pick up from airport - check in to your hotel and later head out for a curated sightseeing in the city: (Tulip Festival, Nishat Mughal Garden, Local carpet makers etc.) - spend the evening by the Jhelum river, sipping Kahwa at an exquisite cafe with excellent views - overnight at Srinagar Hotel.

Day 02: Doodhpathri Day Trip - The Unseeen Kashmiri countryside 

Drive to the offbeat Doodhpathri (Valley of Milk' ) and enjoy some of the finest meadows in the Kashmir valley - the countryside roads to the spot are lesser-visited and very pristine compared to the other crowded touristy places - reach Doodhptahri to winding forest covered roads, indulge in pony rides on the meadows there or walk down to the river to spend some peaceful meditative time - Trace the scenic roads back to the city - Overnight at Srinagar Hotel 

Day 03: Sindh Valley - Sonamarg and Wangat 

Today head out to another scenic side of the Kashmiri paradise - the Sindh valley and Sonamarg. One of the most scenic riverside routes, today we cross the idyllic rural areas of North-East Kashmir and visit the popular 'Golden Meadows' of Sonamarg - explore the bustling local markets and catch a glimpse of the Thajiwas Glacier - Enroute stop at the postcard-perfect riverside villages surrounded by towering mountains and soak in the awe-inspiring vibes by the Sindh river. Later, drive to the Wangat area to see the last village in that region- have lunch with a local village family at their home ana amazing way to see the local life and understand their culture - later explore the 8th century ancient Hindu temple complex nearby where some of the grand ruins of the early era lie - In the Evening Drive back to Srinagar - Overnight at Srinagar Hotel 

Day 04: Pahalgam-Lidder Valley 

Today, start from Srinagar and travel to Pahalgam - cross the beautiful roads along the Lidder river to arrive at Pahalgam - the famous resort town and the 'Valley of Shepherds'. After arrival in Pahalgam, check in to your hotel/guest house and explore the town- its markets, gardens and riverside places. Overnight at Pahalgam Guest House/hotel. 

Day 05: Baisaran - Betaab Valley- Chandanwari 

Visit the Baisaran meadows , a spectacular natural gem reached through dense forests (Short Trek or Pony ride). Later arrive back at Pahalgam, have lunch and start a day tour to few of the picturesque places in the region - the famous Betaab Valley and the scenic Chandanwari - the last road head from where the great Amarnath Yatra starts - After the tour drive back to Pahalgam - Overnight at Pahalgam Guest House/hotel. 

Day 06: Explore the magical Aru Valley 

After breakfast, head out for a short drive along the Aru river to reach the offbeat Aru village, a tiny hamlet located in a bowl-shaped valley at the edge of the Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary. The short drive to Aru village is itself captivating with multiple viewpoints and gorgeous natural settings. Upon reaching, check in to wooden log guest house in the village that offers good views of the area. Spend the remaining day exploring the village, its local culture and doing a short guided day hike through forests to a nearby unexplored meadow with zero crowd. Overnight at Pahalgam Hotel. 

Day 07: Farewell from Kashmir

The awesome journey comes to an end- Check out after breakfast and hop on to a car for a transfer to Srinagar Airport. Depart for home.
