Spiritual journey through Char Dham, the revered pilgrimage circuit in the Himalayas, featuring Tour Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The tour also includes a visit to Chopta, known as the "Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand," offering breathtaking views and serene landscapes. Explore the ancient temple of Tungnath, the highest of the Panch Kedar temples, and experience the mystical charm of Triyuginarayan, believed to be the site of the divine marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar

 

Pick up from an assigned Point in Delhi and Drive to Haridwar Check inn at the hotel (Driver will go for the trip card ) Evening visit Ganga Aarti and Mansa Devi temple Dinner and Overnight stay in Haridwar

 

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (190km / 6-7 hrs)


After Breakfast drive to Barkot Barkot is a town and a Nagar Palika in Uttarkashi District in the state of Uttarakhand. It is located on the banks of the Yamuna river. Barkot is the last big town near Yamunotri Dham. stay overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 3: Barkot to Janki Chatti and then trek to Yamunotri and back (45km on road and a trek of 6km one way)


Yamunotri Temple is situated in the western region of Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,291 metres in Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and has a black marble idol of the goddess. Early morning, Drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, trek start from here to Yamunotri (6kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost. stay overnight in Hotel.

Yamunotri Temple - Maharani Gularia of Jaipur constructed the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. At Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila.

Surya Kund - There are a Number of thermal springs near temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most significant of these is Surya Kund.

Yamunotri Weather – In summer the maximum temp is 18 degrees and the minimum is 10 degrees Celsius. The days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold.

 

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (90km / 3-4 hrs)


Uttarkashi, meaning Kashi of the north, is a town in Uttarakhand, India. Uttarakashi is also known as Somya Kashi. Uttarkashi is a religious place for spiritual and adventurous tourism. Uttarkashi town is also called as Shivnagri. The town has number of temples and ashrams. stay overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back (100km / 3-4 hrs)


Gangotri is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Uttarkashi. It is a Hindu pilgrim town on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and origin of river Ganges. It is on the Greater Himalayan Range, at a height of 3,100 metres. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Return back to Uttarkashi. stay overnight in Hotel.

Gangotri Temple - The temple was built by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century, is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi.

 

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi/Phata (220kms / 8-9 hrs)


Morning after breakfast, move to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. On the way you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Stay overnight at Hotel in Guptkashi.


Guptakashi - The name Gupt Kashi means "Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible relations as well-the Kedarnath pandas (priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.

Guptkashi Weather – Agreeable in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degree Celsius. Cold in winters.

 

Day 7: Guptkashi –Sonprayag- Gaurikund- Kedarnath (30kms by road & 18kms Trek one way)

 

Early morning after breakfast departure for Kedarnath dham. Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan. Stay overnight at Kedarnath . 

By Helicopter - Morning our driver will drop you your prebook Helipad. You can inform driver about your arrival time whether it will by helicopter or by trek, so that Driver will be there to pick you up. (Note: helicopter ticket is not included in this package).


By Trek - Morning our driver will transfer you at Sonprayag then you have to take local jeep for Gaurikund & then your trek start for kedarnath ji. After darshan you follow same & return to Sonpraag. There is big parking issue so driver will back to other palace if his contact no. in not working then you have to arrange other taxi or wait for your driver.


Kedarnath - The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, feel guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for ransom. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface.

Kedarnath Weather – Due to its high elevation the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most part of the year. Summer here is cool and agreeable while winter is severe. During summer season the temperature varies around 20°Celsius. Light woolen wear is recommended. Winter season in Kedarnath is severe with mercury falling to as low as 0°Celsius. During this time the place experiences snowfall as well. Due to the extreme chilly climatic conditions, this time is usually avoided by tourists.

 

Day 8: Kedarnath to Triyuginarayan Temple then Phata (19km of trek / 6 hrs then 50km / 1 hrs)

 

Triyuginarayan Temple located in the Triyuginarayan village. The ancient temple is dedicated to god Vishnu. Its fame is credited to the legend of god Shiva’s marriage to goddess Parvati witnessed by Vishnu. A special feature of this temple is a perpetual fire that burns in front of the temple. The flame is believed to burn from the times of the divine marriage. stay overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 9: Phata/Triyuginarayan to Chopta

 

Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area, a part of Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India and a base for trekking to Tungnath, the third temple of Panch Kedar which lies 3.5 kilometres away. Located at a distance of 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) from Tungnath is Chandrashila, a summit rising to over 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) stay overnight in camp/hotel.

 

Day 10: Chopta to Tungnath and back (8kms / 30min, 3km trek)


Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tunganath mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys. stay overnight in camp/hotel.

 

Day 11: Chopta to Malkoti/Karnaprayag (80kms / 3 hrs)


Kartik Swami is a temple of mystic ambiance and exquisite views. The popular Hindu temple is perched on a hilltop at an elevation of 3050 m and situated near Kanak Chauri Village on Rudraprayag-Pokhari route in the district of Rudraprayag of the state Uttarakhand. In order to reach the temple, one has to undergo a 3 km thrilling trek that starts from Kanak Chauri Village. stay overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 12: Karnaprayag to Badrinath (160kms / 6-7 hrs)


Badrinath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu which is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India. Badrinath one of the ‘Four Dhams’ is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. stay overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 13: Badrinath to Rudraprayag (150kms / 5-6 hrs)


After breakfast drive to Rudraprayag, on the way you will visit Nandaprayag and Karnaprayag. Rudraprayag is one of the Panch Prayag of Alaknanda River, the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). stay overnight in Hotel.

Mana Village - Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Vasundhara - As the name suggests, Vasundhara is a magnificent and beautiful water fall. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motor able up to Mana.

Bhim Pul - On the other side of Mana village, a heavy rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave) - Nearly Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have appeared the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.
Badrinath Weather - The maximum temperature will be around 18° Celsius and the average minimum is 8° Celsius. Warm and woolen clothes are hence required for a stay in Badrinath throughout the year. Winter in Badrinath is often accompanied by snow falls. Winter is very chilly with an average temperature of 5° Celsius. Due to the extreme chilly climatic conditions of weather, this time is usually closed for tourists.

 

Day 14: Rudraprayag to Delhi

 

After breakfast drive to Delhi and arrive by Late evening

As soon as we receive your query, we will update your itinerary and other package details by replying to the same mail. Once the guest is satisfied and gives us the confirmation of the tour we request you to transfer the booking amount mentioned in the below format in any of our bank accounts.

· Cancellation of the booking will be informed to us in writing by mail between 10 am to 1700hrs. except Sunday or holidays . The cancellation charges will be applicable depending upon the services. Cancellation of the hotels and airlines will be done according to their own cancellation policies.

 

The cancellation for a package tour, be applicable as follows :

 

o   Cancellation before clear 30 working days or more prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 35% of the total tour cost will be charged.

 

o   Cancellation before clear 29 to 16 working days prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.

 

o   Cancellation before less than 15 clear working days prior to the date of departure of the Tour: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged.
