Fitness :-

 

A good walk on hilly areas will help you reduce some weight and should put you in the right shape. Porters will be carrying the bulk of your equipment, but it is recommended that you bring a good day pack and are fit enough to carry snacks, filled water bottle/small scissors and knife, waterproof matches, safety pins, Thermometer, Lighter, Dehydration salt (electoral) packets, Neoprene Powder and cream. Heat balm for muscles/joints, Vicksinhaler/vapourub, Chopsticks. Dry Fruits/snacks, camera, Film, Map, Jumper, Sun Hat, First Aid Kit, Light weight Rain Gear, Extra Cloth etc.

 

Attitude Sickness :-

 

This is an environment related condition that can effect anyone who ascends too rapidly to high elevations without acclimatizing properly and also consult your doctor

 

Health Consideration :-

 

All Tourist We do ask you to bring along your own small first aid kit (available at Pharmacies). Some of the items we ask you to bring in the kit are: Antiseptic cream or Wound disinfectant: Iodine and tube-squeeze cream. Foot care and Blister Treatment, band-aids, adhesive roll & strips, gauze pads, moleskin. (please bring ankle high boots to avoid muscle sprain.)

Clothing’s for both extremes of climate and temperature. While driving to Chardham Yatra, it will be warm inside the vehicle and light clothing will be required, but as soon as you step out of the vehicle, warm clothing will be required to keep off the cold winds of the Himalayas. • In case flight is getting delayed due to NOTAM/delayed clearances/bad weather etc., we shall convey to the passengers in advance, so that they may report according to the delayed timings at the Helidrome. 

 

• Sersi – NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company’s third, and the oldest, own Heli-base in the Chardham sector. We operate the shuttle services for Kedarnath ji shrine from here. 

 

• Passengers might be ferried in different shuttle services flights, in view of the maximum weight carrying capacity of the aircraft at a high-altitude destination such as Kedarnath. 

 

• Approximate time taken for Kedarnath Temple Darshan: 02 hours. The shuttle services flight Sersi to Kedarnath is apporx. 07 minutes long. 

 

• Once the darshan is done, passengers will be back to Sersi for breakfast.

Tour Guidelines:

 

• VIP Darshans are subject to the orders issued by the temple authorities and State government. 

 

• In view of our helicopters’ weight carrying capacity, NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company reserves the right to shuffle passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in the same helicopter flight. 

 

• Fixed Flight Timings: This is a Daily Fixed Departure Helicopter tour, and departure timings of each destination is fixed. However, NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company reserves the right to change/postpone the timings of flying one day prior, subject to weather/force majeure reasons. 

 

• Reporting Time at Sahastradhara Helidrome: Reporting time will be confirmed by our Dehradun team, in the evening one day prior to the tour. 

 

• Passengers must submit their correct weights at the time of booking.

 

• Baggage Allowance: Only one baggage weighing a maximum of 5 kgs is allowed per passenger. And it Is not permitted to carry suitcases or big travel bags in the helicopter. 

 

• Kedarnath shuttle service: Passengers will be ferried to Kedarnath ji in a shuttle services flight. And it is likely that passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in a same flight. 

 

• Any sudden increase in taxes/levy by the State Government or the temple authorities, will be borne by the passengers. 

 

• If online yatra registration will be compulsory, then passengers will have to do the same prior to travel. 

 

• Comfortable clothing such as tracksuits or Kurtas are advised on the tour. As for shoes, one should carry sports or trekking shoes. 

 

• NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company has its own crew at all the Dhams. For assistance, they will be with the passengers always. 

 

• Infants below 2 years (Max 12 kg weight) are accommodated free of charge. For verification of age the child, ID proof/birth certificate of the child will be checked. 

 

• Any donations, tips, pitthu, extra porter charges shall be borne by the passengers. 

 

• Network connectivity at Badrinath is poor. BSNL & Jio are the main telecom services, that work in these regions mostly. 

 

• Both temples are located at a high altitude, therefore passengers are advised to carry medication during travel. Also, they are advised to carry warm clothing with them, because during evenings & nights, the temperature can drop drastically. 

 

Terms and Conditions

 

• Covid Travel Guidelines

 

COVID protocols shall be adhered by the passengers and NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company as per the effective mandate of the government. Without adhering to the government guidelines, boarding can be denied to the passengers without refund. 

 

• Seating Capacity

 

The seating capacity of our helicopter is 06 passengers. 

 

• Helicopter Weight Limitation

 

Maximum weight capacity of the helicopter is 450 kg (excluding baggage weight). 

 

Passengers are taken on board depending up on the load and temperature conditions, and the Pilots call will be final. Hence, passengers are required to provide us their exact weights at the time of booking. 

 

Exceedance of helicopter weight carrying capacity, will result in passengers getting deboarded & cancelled for the Heli-tour without any refund. 

 

• Overweight Charges

 

Overweight charges are applicable @ INR 1,500/kg. This will be chargeable to passengers weighing above 75 kg. But excess weight will only be calculated on the total excess weight above the total permissible weight of all the group members combined, i.e., permissible weight 

 

= 75 Kg x (No. of pax). 

 

Any discrepancy found in the weights of the passengers, which will be chargeable as per the overweight criteria, the same would be collected prior to boarding of flights. 

 

• Depending up on weather/force majeure conditions, NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company might cover the Dhams interchangeably. And breakfast/lunch can be arranged at either of the Dhams or Dehradun, depending up on the time of departure from Sahastradhara. 

 

• We advise our passengers to keep one additional day at hand at Dehradun, to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios. 

 

• Bad Weather & Force Majeure Disclaimer

 

Flying in hills are subject to bad weather, and many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traffic Clearances/Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the 

 

passengers at the helipads, among others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios. 

 

• AADHAR Card copies are to be shared by all Indian passengers, & passport in case of foreign nationals. 

 

• Medical Emergencies

 

NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company will not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the passengers. Therefore, in your own interest, passengers are hereby advised to kindly consult a doctor and get medical check-up done before commencing the yatra. Medical check-up is mainly required if a passenger has any medical ailment or condition. 

 

If Medical evacuation by Helicopter is needed, it will be chargeable @ INR 1,10,000/ Hr plus GST. 

 

• Carriage By Air Act, 1972

 

The carriage is subject to NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company Services regulations relating to the conditions of Non- International Carriage (Passenger and Baggage) framed in accordance with The Carriage by Air Act, 1972 and Notification regarding application of the carriage which is non-international. The liability of the company for damage sustained in the event of the death or wounding of a passenger or any other bodily injury suffered by passenger or by his registered baggage during the course of carriage by air will be governed by the provisions of sections 4,5,6 and the rules contained in the second Schedule of Carriage by Air Act 1972 with certain exceptions, adaptations, modifications, etc as notified in the Govt. of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation Notification and as amended from time to time. 

 

• NTP Chardham Package & Helicopter Service Company reserves the right to cancel passengers, who are unruly, abusive, intoxicated, sick, mentally unfit or anyone else whom we deem to be unsafe to fly. No refund shall be done to such passenger(s).

How to make a booking 

 

Please provide us your inquiries through email info@ntpindiatourism.com mentioned on the website. As soon as we receive your query, we will update your itinerary and other package details by replying to the same mail. Once the guest is satisfied and gives us the confirmation of the tour we request you to transfer the booking amount mentioned in the below format in any of our bank accounts.

Cancellation Policy

 

In case of cancellation of tour or travel services due to any reason, you are requested Please inform us in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

 

Cancellation charges for any mode of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.Air ticket issued on special fare are non-refundable and the guest shall bear cancellation charges.

 

 

Group Tours (Calculations are based on full booking amount only)

 

 

- If the reservation is canceled 30 days prior to the date of arrival - 80% may be refunded (except the transaction charges)

 

- If the reservation is canceled 15 days prior to the date of arrival - 40% of the may be refunded (except the transaction charges)

 

- If the reservation is cancelled 07 days prior to the date of arrival - 20% of the may be refunded (except the transaction charges)

 

- If the cancellation is any later than the above stated period or in case of 'No Show'- No Refund.

 

- No refund or any changes will be accepted at last minute for tour starting or after starting or middle of the tour.

 

Individual Tours (FIT Tours)

 

Cancellation policy of Individual tours is subject to changes. It depends upon the cancellation policy of the respective hotels and other service operators your tour is associated with. Different hotels and service operators have different cancellation policies which we are required to abide by. In the unfortunate event of cancellation of trip by guests, we would charge 20% of total booking amount as processing charges + the charges levied by the corresponding service providers.

 

Please Note:

 

- In case of special train journey (like Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, Golden Chariot, Indian Maharaja & Maharajas Express) - a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).

 

 

- For high peak season bookings (from 20th Dec to 15th Jan) - please note that if the booking for high peak season is/are cancelled, due to whatsoever reason, no refund would be made for said cancellation.

 

- During "Peak-Season," which is defined by the density of tourist inflow in each region, and may vary from place to place and hotel to hotel, any particular hotel may implement a different cancellation policy. The travel agent is bound to follow the hotel specific cancellation policy; and in case of variation from the above-stated policy, the excess in cancellation charges will be borne by the client and not the travel agent.

 

- In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not take any guarantee to refund.

 

- Modifications/Cancellations sent directly to the hotel will not be honored.

 

- In regard to unused unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled well in advanced) the refunds amounts would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above, any refund against a payment received through a Credit Card, will be made on the same credit card only. Please note that the refund process may take 2 to 8 weeks due to banking procedures.

 

- No deductions will be made for the refunds (except the transaction charges), which are made due to unavailability of services. If the services requested are unavailable during the requested period, we will offer similar alternatives well before the commencement of the services and if the client does not find the alternatives acceptable, the advance will be refunded. However, once the alternative service is accepted by the client, cancellation of the same will be subject to the above-stated cancellation policy.

 

No Refund For Unused Services

 

- It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund or compensation whatsoever for unutilized services. This general rule applies to all kinds of non-utilization or under-utilization of tour services, whether of the whole or part of the tour and whether as a matter of your choice, or caused by your fault or compelled by circumstances such as ill-health, weather, external factors etc.

 

- There will be no refund if you fail to or are unable to utilize any of the services on the tour like airline travel, hotels, sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, optional tours etc due to any reason whatsoever such as late reporting, ill-health etc.
