Its main attraction is the mausoleum containing the tomb of the saint, which is the sanctum of the Dargah. Among its other prominent attractions are the two mighty Buland Darwazas. The Dargah includes many other attractive buildings, tombs, courtyards and Daalaans, some of which are exquisite specimens of the Moghul architecture. After visiting the Dargah, proceed to Mayo College, a public school founded by the 6th Earl of Mayo, who was Viceroy of India from 1869 to 1872. It was originally a school built to give education to the Indian elite, particularly the princes and nobles of Rajputana.Return to hotel for overnight stay.

It is said that in battle lord Brahma killed the demon Vajra Nabh with a lotus flower, whose petals floated down to earth and landed in three places in and around Pushkar where lakes sprang up. The charming Pushkar lake amidst the hills has fifty-two bathing ghats, built around lake. The water around each ghat is supposed to have special powers. Pushkar is a city of temples of all sizes.
