Day 1 : Arrive at Srinagar airport/railway station
Welcome to Srinagar, the most enchanting tourist destination of Kashmir. Once you arrive at the Srinagar airport/ railway station, NTP representative will welcome you warmly and drive you to the hotel. Relax and refresh after which you can walk down Boulevard Road offering stunning views of Zabarwan Mountain Ranges. Then, let loose yourself on the Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Looking amazing, the lake is dotted with lotus flowers. After this rejuvenating ride get ready to go shopping in Srinagar. From saffron to pashmina shawls, dry fruits, spices, walnut wooden items, paper mache crafts you will find a variety of handicrafts here. After shopping, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Srinagar (Height 1,585 m)
Post breakfast, today we will take you for sightseeing in Srinagar. First, we will head for the famous Mughal garden Shalimar Bagh boasting amazing architecture, lovely flowers, fountains and a serene ambiance to relax and just enjoy the beauty. This garden was built in 1619 by the Mughal emperor.Next on the itinerary is the Chashme Shahi, another magnificent garden winning hearts with its arresting terrace garden, pools of water, walkways, and a variety of plants. Later in the early evening, you can again explore the markets of Srinagar or just take a leisurely walk around. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Srinagar to Pahalgam (88.8 km, 2hrs and 18 mins, height 2740 m)
Check out from the hotel after breakfast. Now we will head for Pahalgam Valley, the next wonderful tourist destination on your Kashmir tour for 7N 8D. As we drive to the valley, En route you will pass by the saffron fields which teem with bright purple flowers in season. What a sight to behold! Avantipura cricket bat factory also comes on the way and one can buy good quality bats from here. After reaching Pahalgam, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Then we will take you to the adorable Betaab Valley named after the famous Bollywood movie Betaab which was shot here. Take a pony ride at the valley, the perfect way to explore its natural beauty. Then we will go to the Sheshnag Lake which offers attractive surroundings and a peaceful ambience. Sit by the lake and get rejuvenated to the core. In the evening we will drive you back to the Pahalgam hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Pahalgam Sightseeing
Today’s itinerary offers you more of the amazing attractions of Pahalgam. Post breakfast, we will visit Chandanwari, a Valley offering sheer natural beauty and tranquillity in plenty. At this valley, capture views of majestic mountains and the beautiful Lidder River. The valley offers stunning views of glaciers from November to May when it gets covered in snow. A pony ride is the ideal way to explore this valley. Next on the day’s itinerary is the bewitching Golf Course in Pahalgam. Playing golf here at such a high altitude amidst a refreshing environment is an experience. If you wish, you can take some golf lessons from experts here. After enjoying golf, we will head to Tulian Lake to capture some amazing sunset views. This is not the end, there is much more to explore! We will drive you to the beauteous Aru Valley, located just 12 km away from Pahalgam. Here you will be spellbound by the alluring greenery, lakes and mountains. Later in the evening, we will drive you back to the hotel in Pahalgam for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Pahalgam to Gulmarg (137.6 km, 3 hrs 40 mins, height 2,650 m)
After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Gulmarg Valley. After arrival in Gulmarg, check into the hotel, relax for some time and then get ready to explore it. Gulmarg is known as the ‘Meadow of Flowers’ and is also a great adventure destination. First, we will visit Alpather Lake located between the twin mountains Alpather. The lake is around 13 km from the valley and is an amazing place surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Its gorgeous green terrain is a treat for the eyes. The lake remains frozen from November to June. The next attraction for the day is Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve, home to some exotic and rare species of animals such as musk deer, snow leopard, etc. In the evening, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 : Gulmarg Sightseeing
Today’s itinerary is all about exploring the charm of Gulmarg. Enjoy the splendours of Mother Nature on the world-famous Gondola Ride. It is the second-longest and highest cable ride in the world and the largest in Asia. This ride will take you to three phases offering mindboggling views of snow-covered mountains. Another world-famous attraction of Gulmarg is Skiing which attracts ski lovers from all over the world. Both amateurs and professionals can enjoy skiing here. And those who are not interested in skiing can go for sledging. Overnight stay at the hotel.
