About Mahavatar Babaji Cave

Mahavatar Babaji cave is the Most Spiritual Caves in Himalayan Region, which is the origin of Kriya yoga and Where Yoga Guru Lahiri Mahasaya got Kriya Yoga teachings directly from Mahavatar Baba Ji. Every day many pilgrims and Kriya Yogis that follow different gurus visit the cave.

To understand the historical Significance of the cave, it is suggested that devotees read Chapter 34 "Materialising a Palace in the Himalayas" from the Autobiography of a Yogi, and "A Blessing from Mahavatar Babaji" from Only Love by Sri Sri Daya Mata.

The ashram’s name is believed to have originated from the two sharp bends in the nearby river. The ashram is visited by people from different religious backgrounds and is considered to be a unifying space for devotees and pilgrims. At the ashram, you can attend meditation sessions that are conducted by experienced yogis and participate in Satsangs where inspiring stories are shared by devotees about the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba.

– Any tax/entry fee imposed by the Govt. budget, Administration, or new policy.
– On Expeditions, at Base Camp, ration and equipment equally distributed among the climbers for load ferry.
– All Technical Gears will be UIAA Certified. Any loss/damage will be charged @1.5 times of actual value to cover up shipping and custom duties OR you can arrange by you.
– No show and trek changes/cancellation due to bad weather or natural calamity will be non-refundable.
– In case an extra day is utilized, an additional amount would be charged, pay on the spot.
– Our team reserves the right to change the plan/itinerary in case there is danger involved.
– Any additional costs due to weather/unforeseen situations, cost of rescue will have to be borne by the climber/you.
– Carry your personal luggage on your own, if you don’t wish to carry it, you can give it to the porter, but you have to inform us in advance and have to pay extra on the basis of per day per bag.
– Extreme Himalayan Trips require a good amount of physical fitness, stamina and endurance so prepare accordingly.
– In case of bad health, sickness/illness, AMS the participant would be sent back and no refund would be provided. Participants have to bear all the return costs on the spot.

Cancellation Policy

NO REFUND SHALL BE MADE WITH RESPECT TO THE BOOKING AMOUNT FOR ANY CANCELLATIONS. HOWEVER, we totally understand that unforeseen circumstances might need you to change plans, and so NTP cancellation policy makes it easier to do that. Please read them very carefully.

    - Cancellations up to 30 days prior to departure date – 10% deduction (payment gateway & bank charges).
    - Between 30 days to 15 days prior to departure – 50% deduction.

    - There will be no refund if you cancel within 15 days before your departure.
    - In any case, the Booking Amount is Non-Refundable.

No cancellations will be taken over call or what’s app msg. Please reply to the email of payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.

In case of government restrictions, bad weather, protests, landslides, road blockage, administrative ban, lockdown, strike or any other unforeseen circumstances which is beyond our control, certain activities during the trek/trip/expedition or the event itself may be cancelled/skipped, or there could be change in the itinerary.

In such instances, we will do our utmost to find an alternative (in the case of event cancellation or rescheduling).

However, there would be no financial refund for the same. You will receive a full refund if the trip is cancelled by us due to a lack of a minimum number of individuals in the batch. Additionally, if you purchased trip insurance, rentals, off-loading, or other activities, you will not receive a refund. The booking amount is non-refundable in any case.

If a trek or trip or expedition cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (bad weather conditions like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, road block, ban, strike, bandh, etc.). No refund would be provided.

Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/bad weather/unforeseen circumstances (rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, ban, road block, bandh, extra stay, food, transportation or taxi cost etc.), Will be borne by customers on the spot. Company will not be liable.

All refunds will be sent to the same bank account or credit card account or UPI that was used to make the purchase. Within 10 working days, the refund amount will be completed. The amount of the refund will always be computed based on the net amount paid for the event booking and the Base Price of the event. (Excluding all additional services transport, rent, porterage, etc.).

Any voucher issued would not include the service tax amount paid while making the booking.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathgodam and driive to Kainchi Dham
Your journey will begin in the morning. You’ll be picked up from Kathgodam / Pant Nagar by our representative who will transfer you to Kainchi Dham. The main attraction of Kainchi Dham is the Neem Karoli Baba ashram which is dedicated to Neem Karoli Baba. You will check in to your reserved hotel and have an overnight stay.
 
Day 2 :Kainchi Dham
After relishing a tasty breakfast, you’ll prepare yourself to visit Neem Karoli Baba ashram. You’ll seek the blessings of Neem Karoli Baba and explore the other temples situated in the complex of the ashram including Radha Krishna Temple, Prajapati Temple, and Nava Graha Shani Temple. You can also attend Satsang and evening Aarti. After the darshan, you’ll return to your hotel and have an overnight stay.\\
 
Day 3 : Drive to Dwarahat : 4-5 Hours
Drive  towards Dwarahat via Ranikhet. On the way will see many beautiful hill stations, Villages and Himalayan views, slowly as you close to dwarahat cool breeze will feel you energetic. Visit YSS Ashram after reaching Dwarahat   Night Stay in Dwarahat Tea House/Guest House .
 
Day 04: Dwarahat  to Kukuchina – Babaji cave visit and return – 20 km Drive /3km Trek
Today I will drive early in the morning; first 20 km till Kukuchina by drive and from there 3 km trek to Babaji Cave. Trek takes 1-2 hours depends upon devotee. After reaching in Cave devotee meditate here 1-2 hours and gets blessing of Baba ji, later return to Kukuchina and drive for Dwarahat.
 
Note : Scenic drive to Dwarahat passing through the beautiful Himalayan mountains. You will visit Mahavatar Babaji Caves where in 1861 Babaji initiated Lahiri Mahasaya. It is also believed to be the birthplace of Kriya Yoga. You can meditate inside the cave and absorb the serene atmosphere. You can also pay your respect to Baba Ji. In the evening you’ll return to your hotel and have a soothing sleep.
 
Day 05: Dwarahat to Kathgodam : 115 km : 4-5 Hours
Today last day for Mahavatar babaji Cave Tour, Morning after breakfast drive  for Kathgodam via Ranikhet, Visit Ranikhet and Almora and drive for Kathgodam, we will drop you in Kathgodam.
