Day 01 - Arrival At Cochin (35 Kms / 1 Hour)
You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi International Airport by the NTP India Tourism representative and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at Xandari Harbour - Spice Room.
Day 02 - In Cochin
Morning after breakfast sightseeing visiting Jewish Synagoge, Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, St.Thomas Church, St.Mary's cathredal, Chinese Fishing Nets and Bolghaty Palace. In the evening, visit to see the famous dance drama of Kerala, the Kathakali. This dance is characterized by some great story telling, amazing costumes and extensive makeup. Later, return to hotel for overnight stay. Overnight at Xandari Harbour - Spice Room.
NB - Jewish synagogue, Mattancherry Palace etc are closed on all Fridays & Saturdays
Day 03 - Munnar (140 Kms / 5 Hours)
Third day begins with a morning drive to Munnar. One of the most popular destinations in Kerala, Munnar is brimming with expansive tea gardens, mostly owned by Tata plantations, picturesque little hills and exhilarating air, all free from pollution, litter and the bustle of traffic. The drive will cover a distance of 140 kms with a stop at Cheeyappara Waterfalls. On arrival, check-in at Spice Tree Resort - Jacuzzi Bungalow. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 04 - In Munnar
Your Kerala trip continues in Munnar with sightseeing tours to Pothamedu, Mattupetty and Echo point with an optional choice of boating in the lake. Overnight stay will be in Spice Tree Resort - Jacuzzi Bungalow.
Day 05 - Thekkady (100 Kms / 3.5 Hours)
Morning after breakfast drive to Thekkady, which has the famous wild life sanctuary of south India. On arrival check in at hotel. In the afternoon visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Overnight at Spice Village - Standard Cottage
Day 06 - Thekkady
Morning after breakfast proceed for half day bamboo rafting adventure program. This water activity is pretty simple, all you need to do is just float in the water. On your way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at Spice Village - Standard Cottage
Day 07 - Kumarakom (140 Kms / 4 Hours)
Day seven starts after breakfast with a drive to Kumarakom. A Kerala tour package is incomplete without a trip to this village settlement on the Vembanad lake. Meandering waterways, canopies of coconut trees and many other sights make this a memorable destination for most visitors. Upon arrival, you will be checking in to Niraamaya Retreats - Superior Lake view villa. Afternoon will be for unwinding at this beautiful backwater resort. Overnight stay will be at the same resort.
Day 08 - Houseboat (Alleppey) (135 Kms / 1.5 Hours)
An eventful joyride on a traditional Kerala houseboat is the number one activity for any Kerala tour. After breakfast, you will be boarding a Luxury houseboat which will cruise through Alleppey's winding waterways, providing an insight into the lifestyle, culture and unrelenting beauty of small fishing villages. Overnight stay will be in the Houseboat (Xandari - Luxury A/C).
Day 09 - Kovalam (160 Kms / 4 Hours)
After breakfast, you will be disembarking the houseboat and our transfer services will take you to Kovalam. After checking in at the resort, the rest of the day is to stroll through the sands and witness the sundown on Kovalam's scenic horizon. Overnight stay will be at The Ayur villa - Deluxe Room
Day 10 - Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kovalam
Morning ayurveda session as per the advice from the Doctor. Afternoon, you will be taken on a tour of the historic city of Thiruvananthapuram. This will include visits to Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Horse Palace, Napier Museum and Srichitra Art Gallery. Lunch will be back at the hotel and afternoon will be free to relax by the beach.
