Itinerary

DAY 01- BHUBANESWAR (ARRIVAL)
Arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station & transfer to the hotel. Check in to the hotel & freshen up. Rest of the day at free for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02- EXPLORE BHUBANESWAR

After Morning Breakfast procced for full day city tour of Temple City Bhubaneswar famous for beautiful architecture (One of the Most Important Temple, Mukteswar Temple, influenced by Buddhism). Later Visit Rajarani Temple. Odisha State Museum with lot of Buddhist Sculptors collected from different Buddhist archaeological sites of Odisha. and Khandagiri & Udaygiri Jain Caves. Later. Back to the hotel. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
DAY 03- BHUBANESWAR – DHAULI – PIPILI – KONARK – BHUBANESWAR

After Delicious Breakfast at hotel visit Dhauli, famous for Asokan Rock Edicts and Place where battle of Kalinga was Fought in 261 B.C that made a great change in the mind of Ashok so that he became Buddhist. Also Visit Peace Pagada. Later visit Pipili appliqu village and World heritage site Sun Temple of Konark (Watch the Buddhist influence on this temple). Back to Bhubaneswar.
Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 – BHUBANESWAR-LALITGIRI-RATNAGIRI- UDAYGIRI – BHUBANESWAR
After Morning Breakfast full day Excursion to Lalitgiri (Archaeological site of a Buddhist Monastery from 4th to 8th Cen A D) with Monastery parts and many votive Stupa, all different Buddhist sculptors with Chaita hall and a Huge stupa from where caskets of Budhas relic is available. Later Visit Ratnagiri, the Largest Buddhist monastery we have till know, flourished from 4th to 14th century A D with most of sculptors of Vajrayanic sect, hundreds of Votive Stupa & brick Stupa and huge monastery. Later visit Udaygiri, another huge Buddhist monastery which still under excavation, back Bhubaneswar for overnight stay.
DAY 05 – BHUBANESWAR-KAYAM-LANGUDI-BHUBANESWAR

After Delicious Breakfast full day visit Kayam Hill Buddhist cave and Langudi Giri which one of recent excavation with ruins of Monastery, Stupas and lot of Mahayanic sculptors, Five Dhyani Buddhas. Back to Bhubaneswar. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 – DEPARTURE
After delicious breakfast at hotel check out from hotel & procced for BBI Airport/BBS Railway Station for onward journey with sweet memories.
