Dodi Tal Lake is located in Uttarakhand state, north India. It is a pristine freshwater lake in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand in northern India. The lake has holy sentiments for the denizen of the valley of Assi Ganga river, which originates from Dodi Tal. The river Assi Ganga later merges with
Bhagirathi at Gangori near Uttarkashi. The name of the lake owes to a healthy population of Dodi or the Himalayan Trout fish.
