Destination: 04 Nights / 05 Days

 

Destination Cover - Bhubaneswar – chowdwar – Nuapatna – Joranda – Dhenkanal – Puri – Konark and different isolated tribal village including Dalbehera( the treemen) and colorful Lanjia, Dunguria , Bonda and many more

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: (Tuesday)-Bhubaeswar- Choudwar (1 hr drive+ visit)

 

Upon arrival meet our representative and transfer to choudwar by road, check in a nice heritage palace . relax.

 

Day 2: (Wednesday)- Saura tribe village- Munda tribe village- Chowdwar (2.30hr drive+ hiking & visit)

 

After early breakfast proceed to Damadamuni, (upto there is motorable metal road and from there you hiking the colorful saura village- 4km in the core jungle with our naturalist) meet the isolated village of saura tribe (complity away from modern civilization -where there is no road and electricity still today, but the nature is full sorounding of hill terrain).

 

Pm- meet the primitive Munda tribe at their village and explore their life style. Return back to Palace and relax with mouth watering food at royal dining hall.

 

Day 3: (Thur)-Nuapatna- Sadeiberani- Joranda- Dhenkanal palace (total 4 hr drive + visit)

 

Morning proceed toward the famous textile village – Nuapatna ( famous for tie and dye- Ikat) meet the national award winner weavers family and explore their unique weaving while returning time meet the dokra craft artisan at their village.

 

Post lunch drive towards the famous Mahima sadhu Monastry at Joranda. Excursion the unique worship of inifinity during sunset time.

Return back to heritage palace of Dhenkanal and stay with royal hospitality.

 

Day 4: (Fri)-Bhubaneswar temple tour-Raghurajpur- Puri(3.30hr drive+ visit)

 

Morning enjoy the royal breakfast in a open garden ( subject to no rain) and then proceed to Puri, enroute visit the temple of temple city – Bhubaneswar, such as Parasurameswar-7th cAD, Mukteswar-9th c AD, and the grand lingaraj temple-11 c AD- 55 mt high ( on the platform, non hindus are not allow inside of this particular temple).

 

Visit the ancient Kalinga war place with rock inscription of Emperor Ashoka of 3rd c BC at Dhauli.

 

Meet the classical artisan at their village – Raghurajpur and enjoy the classic dance of Gotipua – odishi at the gurukul ( natural ambiance with traditional costum and music, arranged by us).

 

Check in a nice hotel on beach at puri. Rewind your energy at the swimming pool.

 

Day 5: (Sat)-Puri sight seeing- Konark- Puri(2hr drive+ visit)

 

Morning sun greeting on the beach, after breakfast explore and excursion the classic puri by cycle rickshaw such as ancient pond, traditional streets, vedic school, cremation place, and Jagannath temple ( on the top of old lybreary , because non hindus are not allow inside).

 

PM- drive towards Konark, and excursion the language of stone (live kamasutra of 13th C ad on temple wall). Return back to hotel and relax.
