Tour Details

Who are we

NTP is an old-school mountaineering company run by the natives of the Garhwal Himalayas. We offer full-fledged peak climbing, alpine-style climbing, high pass expeditions, multi-day backpacking ventures, rock climbing as well as mild hiking trips for trekking enthusiasts. With our expertise, you can experience authentic Himalayan heritage & culture and adventure sports with the highest satisfaction.

A Yatra, A Test

Participants can look into this trek from two major perspectives. One is to explore & enjoy the depths of the Indian Himalayas in its sheer grandeur. Secondly, the followers of Sanatan Dharma embrace this journey to trace the final footsteps of Pandavas in their ultimate quest for salvation or moksha. One can say, it is not just a physical trek/yatra but every inch is an inward journey into your soul.

Highlights

It is believed that Pandavas took this route during their ascent to heaven. Only Yudhishthira and a dog were able to reach heaven. All the other Pandavas died on the way. Swargarohini is the only path from where one Can Reach Heaven in Human form. The sacred Satopanth Lake is triangular and Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswara meditated on its three corners.. Devotees believe that a holy dip here will wash away their sins.

Besides the trek, in this tour, we will also explore the Panchprayags, Mana village and some Panchbadri temples of importance.
