Day 01 : Patna - Sultanganj By Surface Approx 220 Kms/5hrs

 

Upon Arrival at Patna Airport. The capital city of Bihar located at the southern bank of the river Ganga. The history of this city stretches beyond 2500 years back. The ancient name of this city was Pataliputra which remained as the capital of Magadha under multiple dynasties for about thousand years. Meet and Proceed to.

 

Day 02 : Sultanganj - Padyatra 25- 30 Kms

 

Morning taking a bath in the Ganga and fill their vessels with the 'holy' Ganga water offer to Lord Baidyanath temple at Deoghar . Then suspend the vassal through the kanwar slung across their shoulder and undertake the arduous journey on feet for approx110 kilometer on the Sultanganj- Deoghar stretch. En-route lunch at local Restaurant / Dhaba. Rest for Half an hour . Restart Padyatra (Sanskrit, lit. journey by foot). In evening stop at pre booked at Dharmshala (Dharamshala is a 'religious sanctuary' or rest-house for pilgrims with basis amenities) . Dinner and Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 06 : Padyatra – Deoghar- Drive To Basukinath

 

Morning breakfast proceed for last Padyatra approx 10 Kms . Upon arrival in Deoghar . Take bath is Shivaganga .The old name of Shivaganga is Varvoghar kund. It is situated just 200 metres away from the Baidyanath temple. Later offer holy water to Baba Baidyanath Temple. Baidyanath dham one of the 12 Jyotirlinga (Dharshan timing ( 5:00 am - 15:30 Pm) and ( 18:00 pm - 21:00 pm ) . After Darshan drive to Basukinath approx 46 Kms from Deoghar . Shiv and parvati temple. its is considered incomplete without paying homage at Basukinath. If time allows Enjoyed ropeway at Trikuth Parvat .Dinner and Overnight stay in Deoghar Hotel.

 

Day 07 : Deoghar – Gaya – Bodhgaya By Surface Approx 250 Kms / 6 Hours

 

Breakfast at Hotel . Proceed to Gaya approx 250 Kms/ 6 Hours - Gaya finds mention in the great epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata. Rama along with Sita and Lakshmana visited Gaya for offering PIND-DAAN to their father Dasharath. En-route Lunch at Local Restaurant . Upon arrival in Gaya . Visit Vishupad Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. - This temple is located along the Falgu River, marked by a footprint of Lord Vishnu known as Dharmasila, incised into a block of basalt. Afte Darshan proceed to Bodhgaya approx 16 Kms . Bodhgaya is the most important Buddhist pilgrimage centre where Lord Buddha attained Enlightenment. Check-in at Hotel. Evening is free . Breakfast at hotel .Visit Mahabodhi Temple and the Bodhi tree .Later spend time for Meditation at Mahabodhi Meditation Park. After Lunch proceed visit China ,Thai , Bhutan , Srilanka , Japanies International monasteries etc. and 80th feet Statue .Dinner and Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
