DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT BHUBANESWAR
On arrival at Bhubaneswar airport/railway station met by our representative & transfer to the hotel. Later Procced to half day sightseeing of famous city temples, i.e. like Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar (known as the ‘gem of Orissan architecture’) & Rajarani Temple. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.
DAY 02: EXCURSION TO DIAMOND TRIANGLE
After breakfast drive to the diamond triangle of Orissa – Ratnagiri (has a rich concentration of Buddhist antiquities), Lalitgiri (oldest Buddhist center of Orissa) & Udaygiri (largest Buddhist complexes in Orissa). Return to Bhubaneswar. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.
DAY 03: BHUBANESWAR – DHAULI – PIPLI – KONARK – PURI
Morning after breakfast drive to Puri en-route visit Dhauli the peace pagoda (is also one of the much-famed Buddhist sites at Orissa & here emperor Ashoka underwent a psyche change and abandoned war for the rest of his life, in the 3rd century BC), Pipili the applique work village & Konark Sun temple. On arrival at Puri check in to the hotel. Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight stay at Puri.
DAY 04: PURI – CHILIKA – GOPALPUR
After Morning Breakfast drive to Chilika Lake at Barkul (the largest brackish water lake). At Chilika take the boat cruise to explore the bird’s Island & Nalabana Island. Then proceed to Gopalpur and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Gopalpur.
DAY 05: EXCURSION TO CHANDRAGIRI
After breakfast drive to Chandragiri (situated in between the lush green forest – a unique destination for the Buddhist & it is the largest Buddhist monastery in South east Asia) to visit the Tibetan settlement. Back to Gopalpur & Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 06: GOPALPUR – BHUBANESWAR
Morning drive back to Bhubaneswar en-route visit Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later visit to State museum & Ekamra Haat. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.
DAY 07: DEPARTURE TRANSFER
Morning transfer to airport / railway station for onwards journey.
